We are excited to be re-launching our Day Camp Counselor Assistant Training (CAT) Program! CATs are incoming 7th graders who are ready to take the next step in their camp journey!

This program gives older campers a chance to grow as leaders, learn new skills, and begin the transition from camper to counselor—all while still enjoying the fun and community of day camp.

The CAT program is a hands-on experience where participants will:

• Develop leadership and communication skills through guided training sessions
• Build confidence and responsibility in a supportive, camp-based setting
• Shadow camp counselors and assist with younger groups
• Still enjoy their favorite camp activities while having increased leadership opportunities.

The following year, as incoming 8th graders, individuals who have successfully completed the CAT program will be invited back as Counselor Assistants (CAs).

• CAT Program will be offered during sessions 1 and 5.
