Programs

Camp Fire Samish offers various programs for youth throughout Whatcom, Skagit, and Island County.

Clubs

Camp Fire Classic Club programs serve youth ages 3 through 18. They meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly throughout the year in both in and outdoor “classrooms.” Adult leaders and youth create a wide variety of exciting and educational activities, projects, experiences, and events. In fact, the activities are limited only by the members’ imaginations!

Single Day – Day Camps

We host single day Day Camps that run from between 9AM and 4PM and each one has a theme for the day. Examples include Wizarding World where youth are encouraged to unleash their inner sorcerer, or Under the Sea where campers will learn about new underwater creatures while developing new skills! Day Camps are designed for youth between the youth in Kindergarten to 6th Grade.

Community Classes

We offer a variety of classes and programs designed for youth. We partner with local communities, including Burlington, Burch Bay, and Ferndale for these classes to help you engage your spark! 

Babysitting Basics

In addition to day camps, Camp Fire Samish also offers programs that allow youth to develop their abilities to care for others. In Babysitting Basics courses, youth are taught fundamentals of babysitting which includes how to be a safe, fun, and caring babysitter.  Babysitting Basics classes are designed for youth between the ages of 10 and 13. 

After School Enrichment

These classes are held after school at participating schools. We offer four different themes for schools to choose from. The themes are: Fun through Creativity, Mysteries of the Earth, Experiments and Science, and Let’s get Active  Click Here for more information.
