Enrichment Program

We are excited to announce online registration for the After-School Enrichment Program.  Below are the classes that are available for winter session for K-2nd grade and 3rd-8th grade.  To sign up for a class click on the registration button for that class and then fill out the information.

Registration is due by Monday, April 22nd, 2019.

Class sizes are limited – Register Early –First come first served

Time: K-2nd Grade:  Wednesday 1:40PM– 2:30PM / 3rd – 8th Grade: Wednesday 2:30PM – 3:30PM. K-2nd Grade: Thursday 2:40PM – 3:30PM / 3rd – 8th Grade: Thursday 3:30PM – 4:30PM.

Students will be dismissed directly to the program – please provide a quick, non-messy snack from home if needed.  Students will need to be picked up promptly at 2:30PM/3:30PM. The K-2nd grade can ride the 3rd – 8th grade bus home.

Costs vary depending on the class and are listed below.  A small fee has been added to each class to help cover administrative and other cost associated with this program.

The PTA has a limited number of scholarships available for eligible families.  If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please contact  bv-vc@be.wednet.edu. Only one class per session will be eligible for a scholarship.  Once all requests for scholarships have been submitted and reviewed, you will be contacted regarding your scholarship request.

WEDNESDAY CLASSES 

Class:  Get Active – Cost: $40

K – 2nd Grade – 1:40 PM – 2:30 PM  Register Here

Class Description: Are you ready to get physical? Let’s Get Active is the perfect place to let loose and get out your energy. Play your favorite games such as soccer and kickball as well as learn new games.

Class: Min 8/Max 15

Class:  Ukulele – Cost $65

K – 2nd Grade – 1:40 PM – 2:30 PM   Register Here

Class description: Are you an inspired musician? Does the sound of music bring a smile to your face? If so then come learn how to play the ukulele from an experienced instructor. Instruments are provided; all you need to bring is a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Class:  LEGOs – Crazy Carnival Machines – COST $72

K – 2ND GRADE – 1:40 PM – 2:30 PM   Register Here

Class description: Strategic Kids’ Crazy Carnival Machines will get students working with LEGO® while teaching a wide variety of engineering topics. Children will learn organizational and fine motor skills, as well as team work and other life strategies! Through this course, the students will discover simple engineering concepts using gears, levers and pulleys by engaging in fun activities and guided play based around carnival games and machines.

THURSDAY CLASSES 

Class: Fortnite – Cost: $65

K – 2nd Grade – 2:40 PM – 3:30 PM  Register Here

Class Description: Move your child from the computer screen to the dance floor.  They will learn their favorite dance moves and complete a full dance routine with an optional performance opportunity.

Gym clothes would work best but aren’t required.

Class: Chess – Cost $40

Class description: Do you love playing checkers and are looking for the next step up? Join the chess club and learn strategy and patience from a chess expert. Discover how to wow your friends and destroy your enemies.

Class : Min 8/Max 15

Class: Art in Nature – Cost $40

Class description: With the use of different methods and materials students will make personal connections with the outdoor world through the lens of their own creativity.
